I am quite pleased with myself today as I arrive at 10,000 page views on DA, and without even "exposing" too much of my models! I see where others have over one hundred thousand and even a million page views, but I am happy with my small accomplishment and have only been posting photos for eight months.

Thank you very much to all who have visited and are returning and see this message post! I love Deviant Art and all that it does for the art community and what it has done for me and my creativity and improvement through feedback, criticism and interacting with other artists.

Welcome to Mississippi, ain't so bad y'all. Raised here, played guitar and keyboard and sang in a regional rock band (get this..."Mississippi Rain", "The B-Flats" and "The Frustrations") in high school and college making enough money to pay for all college expenses at Ole Miss. Never produced any records (CDs), but did record music at Sun Studios - awesome! So, with geology and civil engineering education in hand, "grew up" , gave up music to work full time in Kansas City and then Jackson Mississippi as a "geotechnical engineer". Let me know if you actually care and just must know what I do all day!~! I married my high school sweetheart, Pam, 5 years ago after reconnecting through Classmates and now work in the home of great BBQ and gluttony...Memphis. Don't play music as much, though I love Beale Street and the local history of music here, and love being able to sit out on the bank of the Mississippi downtown and watch the river roll. I now use this photography thang as my outlet - enjoy! (we do say "y'all" and "Mama'n'nem" an awful lot)
